  REAL camping, not "commercial" like a lot of places....typical "cabin in the woods" setting. very small area for swimming but canoes are available, and even some floats were available for the kids to play on, very nice life guard when I was there...a lot of interaction with the children, taught them things, he brought food for them to throw to the fish etc.. was very nice. Theres a small rec hall with couches and games for the family, also a very small cabin which teaches about the smaller wildlife in the area. Outhouses, wood stove inside, and we had a screened in porch as well. There was a fire pit and a grill at our site. Prices were incredibly low which is a great bonus!! lots of trails etc.. as well. I almost debated on putting the news out there about this hidden gem : ) it was nice and quiet, simple wood cabin, perfect for a family camping experience : )

  Dec-2016: Nice spot. Very cozy clean cabin. Efficient wood stove kept wood cost low. Nice view over the pond with beautiful sunsets. Nice hiking around the pond. I would definitely go again.
  Dec 2017- I went there again and it was just as nice. Very quiet.
