Poor time management. Appointment 2 hours ago and still have not seen the doctor. Excuse by the office worker is “ that’s how it is he spends a lot of time with patients “ that’s all nice and good but schedule accordingly or at least give explanation and update
Once I did see the doctor and had a mini breakdown he was great helped calm me gave a thorough exam and explained everything and kept me at ease.
Dr. Buzney is the most caring and thorough doctor I’ve ever met. On the day of my laser procedure to treat holes around my retina, I was extremely nervous. Dr. Buzney explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. He was so kind and calm and made a few jokes that really helped ease my nerves.
After my procedure, I noticed something was off about my eye and vision and was very worried that something had gone wrong. The receptionists at Tallman Eye Associates were extremely unhelpful and told me I would need to wait until my follow up appointment (almost 3 months later) to speak with him. I believe this is a reflection of the office staff and NOT Dr. Buzney. After pretty much begging them to fit me in sooner because I was so worried and because their optometrist had examined me and could not figure out why I was experiencing these issues but agreed I needed to be seen sooner, I decided to call Dr. Buzney’s private practice. Dr. Buzney not only returned my call the same day I left a message at his private practice, but he did so after the office had already closed and on (what I think was) his personal phone. He helped ease my worries and took his time explaining everything to me, and he told me that what I am experiencing is normal. I have NEVER had a doctor call me back outside of business hours before. I was freaking out for 2 weeks at this point and am so appreciative that he got back to me as soon as possible instead of the next day/next week.
I’ve seen several reviews mentioning the long wait times, but I will never complain about waiting to see Dr. Buzney because he is an amazing, thorough doctor who genuinely cares about his patients.
