“Had my first experience today. I love BBQ and when I saw they have alligator on the menu I just had to try it. I ordered the alligator fritters and the alligator sausage the chef asked if I had a preference because he had alligator tail. This is the choicest meat I went with his recommendation and I’m so glad I did the fritters were amazing not greasy at all with an amazing taste hard to describe but not gamy like some might think. The dipping sauce that came with it is delicious. The alligator sausage is absolutely delicious nice bit of spice but not too much and the mustard type sauce that came with it is incredible I would buy that by the jar. I plan on ordering more food and working my way through the menu check it out if you like barbecue this is the place !!!”

“Use to get an excellent rating in the other location. I miss the warmth and charm of the old place. You could sit right on fireplace ledge, or in big comfy chairs in front of it. Okay they have a fireplace here, but it's behind glass. It looks trapped. People use to sit and read the paper, chatted more. It's the difference between going to a bed and breakfast at a cozy inn and staying at a modern hotel.Okay modern is efficient. I get it. Just not my style. Food is still fresh and delicious as is expected. I seldom eat here now. But in the warmer weather I'll try the outdoor area with the umbrellas. I'll try and imagine Route1 is the seashore!”
