“I like to shop at Shaws in Hanover because I find the store to be just the right size, not overwhelmingly large and with enough variety to satisfy my picky taste. In addition, Shaw's has a section for reduced meat and bakery goods which I find very convenient when I want to cook something immediately on the same day. I save money and eat a great meal simultaneously! The staff here are very friendly and helpful albeit most of them are teenagers but I guess somebody has pounded into their head to be courteous and helpful! The price is here like everywhere are going up up! However, with the store app as well as the ability to stock up when they have things on sale, I find the store much more of the value than stop & shop.”

The took down walls and opened up our living space. They repaired the remaining walls and repainted everywhere. Basically, they transformed our home into a more versatile, modern and functional space for us. Months later, the finished job is still bringing intense satisfaction every time I look at it. We're using our living space in ways we couldn't before. Mark and Craig walked us through every step of the way and had plenty of expert help on call to help us make decisions and smooth the process. Caitlyn in the office guided us through the nuts and bolts of our responsibilities. She also taught us how to use their very easy & state of the art project management software to make our role as smooth as silk. Neto, Leo and a host of expert tradesman applied their years of skilled labor to transform our home exactly the way we wanted it. Basically, it was a smooth process, start to finish that transformed our home powerfully from our current home to our forever home. They guided us through every decision and coached us until we understood exactly what were doing each step in the process. Every member of the Almar team was so nice to spend time with that we seriously felt like we were saying goodbye to family when the job was done. They are a wonderful team, who do wonderful work and I'll sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you're considering a home improvement project, you need to call Almar. “My search for a used Honda Fit with a manual transmission and low mileage took me to this car dealership all the way on the other side of the state from where I live. There are few things I hate more than buying cars because people always try to con you and do the hard sell. Additionally as a woman I will say that more than once I have experienced chauvinistic, condescending behavior from car salespeople, which is pretty appalling. When I spoke with Bob on the phone, he understood I was coming from Western Mass. and he said he would put the keys aside for me and if someone else wanted to look at the car he would explain I had first dibs and was on my way. When I arrived he handed me the keys and said go check it out and if you like it bring it around to the front and I'll put plates on it and you can test drive it. The hands off approach was so refreshing and lovely. The car was great and he handled the rest of it with me from across the state with clear communication and responsiveness. When I returned to pick up the car, everyone was ready for me and I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. Bob and the rest of the staff treated me with respect and did not play any games. The car is in great shape and everyone there was so professional and straightforward. I would glady drive two and a half hours again next time I need a car.”
