(February 22, 2019, 6:04 am)The staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed the food. The bread and butter was yummy, had the huge potato skins for apps, which was awesome. Beer list is generic and disappointing, and I wasn't a fan of the short ribs. Overall, I would go back again and give it another try, I wouldn't say it's bad.

(February 8, 2019, 8:47 pm)Have not been here for years due to a move. This place is just like it was when my wife and I had one of our first dates, a long time ago. The food was fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent, fast and the atmosphere is cozy. I am so glad I got to go back to this old favorite spot and I hope to be there more often. The price is right for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend.

(January 12, 2019, 7:55 pm)Food was delicious and very reasonable. The butter served with the complimentary rolls was soft and sweet. Handcut onion rings were delicious. I ordered the pecan crusted salmon in a hazelnut cream sauce. It was VERY good!! Service was efficient and friendly. Strongly recommend and would definitely return.

As a young girl I grew up in the restaurant business. My family started their first restaurant when I was only two years old. Today, 32 years later, along with my husband and our four year old daughter, I am proud to call The Olde Hitching Post our first restaurant and Hanson, MA our new home.
