The Parrot

Came for drink and App. Not too crowded. Food was great..fried calamari with great dipping sauce and oysters yummy. Will come back again

I ordered take out about a week ago. I was shocked, the steak tips were amazing, if not the best I have ever gotten from a restaurant in my life. Mouth watering. The take out margaritas could have been a little bit more ounce wise for the price. But the service was super fast. Whoever did the take out order could have used a little more customer service skills. But the food made up for it.
Will definitely be back when I’m in town.

This place is awesome. The former Red Parrot had a few reincarnations before being purchased by a high quality local restaurateur. I like how they kept the original spirit of the place with the name, Parrot, and doing a complete remodeling of the interior and exterior. The roof deck is amazing, the bar is slick and complete, and they serve (currently) the best Lobster Roll in town! Currently, ordering and takeout is streamlined, and they even offer takeout cocktails that are quite good. I’m really impressed by the establishment’s ability to adapt to the current dining climate. They make delicious duck, seafood and a bunch of other favorites and originals alike. PLEASE don’t go anywhere Parrot!!

The mussels were fabulous and so is the view from the deck. The waitress was also great!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the hostess kept us waiting for a solid 6 minutes before she even appeared -- and then, she was not apologetic and even had an attitude about it.

When the official greeter is missing for a toe-tapping amount of time when you're trying to catch the sunset, it set a bad tone.

Luckily, the food, service, and views totally redeemed The Parrot. For that, I'll be back.

The Food was Great with my gluten allergy. Staff was very helpful and came back a few times to be sure we were happy with our lunch. Definitely was.. Would go back again, next Summer
