  Goodrich Lumber is one of the only real lumber yards remaining in the area. It's a great store with long-time, friendly and helpful employees. The quality of lumber is far better at Goodrich than you'll find at the big box, corporate hardware stores.
  
  Goodrich Lumber also provides a much wider variety of wood species as well. I just picked up a 10 ft piece of 1x4 cherry which they had in stock. 1x cherry would be a special order at many other lumber yards on the So. Shore & Cape Cod.

  Great lumber yard! No hauling all of your materials through those big stores, Goodrich has 3 bays and you just drive right up to what you need and drive right out. Very convenient, quality lumber at decent prices; great folks to deal with inside as well, I highly recommend Goodrich Lumber!

  Good products, excellent service. I ordered lumber for a garage loft and they only sent one 2x10x24. I thought I had ordered four. I'm not sure if it was my mistake or theirs, but they took responsibility and sent the other three without an additional delivery charge. The product was all good quality, the customer service was excellent, delivery was prompt and driver was careful. The emailed receipts are handy. Even though I'm not a contractor, and it must have been a small order for them, they treated me with respect and gave me all the time I needed. I'll never go anywhere else.
