I would highly recommend with five stars! Special thank you to Ann who treated us like a family member with her kindness and professionalism, as well as Jessica and Kim. We were not rushed and picked out a stone that we were very happy with. They made an uncomfortable time practically stress free thanks again for your kindness it was appreciated.

This is my second time working with Qunicy Memorials. Such a good experience at a very sad time. Very knowledgeable, kind and caring women Anna and Kimberly are. Truly not enough adjectives to describe these gracious women.

Ann was amazing at helping us pick out a new stone for my neighbor's wife who had passed, she treated us like family and made the process so much easier. I will recommend Quincy Memorials to everyone. Thank you again Ann

When you lose someone, your world stops and you function somehow, but only out of necessity.
When my husband left us at the end of October, I entered a state of suspended animation which was exacerbated by the fact that “the Holidays” were so soon upon us.
I floated through these in a haze and only started dealing with the loss in early February. It was then that I realized that all the plans that I had been making for Jim’s 75th Birthday in May could be no longer.
Not only a birthday, but a special one and I had been working on plans to outshine his 70th. Instead, I was picturing us sitting that day, alone and in mourning mode. This was not right!!! It was a day to celebrate Jim and all that he had meant to us. What could I do?
Then it came to me, we could celebrate Jim in a special way by making the installation of his marker a celebration of all that he had been and would continue to be in our lives.
I found that this was easier said than done. The average production time was six months, and I did not have that amount of time.
Our funeral director put me in touch with Ann Hefner at Quincy Memorial. She agreed that it would be very difficult but was as determined as I to make it work. I don’t know how much time she invested in calls to locate my ideal marker, a bench, which was already constructed.
After achieving this major feat, she connected me with Jamie McGregor who converted my rather involved and somewhat obscure design into reality. Several phone calls later the design was approved and sent to Brian who would do the engraving.
I do not know how they managed to do six months work in three but on May 16th we gathered at Holy Family Cemetery to view “Jim’s perfect bench” participate in a touching and consoling ceremony by Father Hickey and celebrate the man who had been my husband for almost forty years.
I highly recommend Quincy Memorial for not only their excellent product and design skills but for the kindness and consideration that they extend to those of us who are dealing with grief and a need for our own style of excellence.
