ListWell represents buyers and sellers on a fixed price model, so you pay a $4,000 flat rate to buy or sell a home, not a ghastly 2 or 2.5% of the sale price. What did that mean for us as buyers? The stated commission on our purchase was 2.5% and was to net $14,125 to the buyer's agent. Jim collected his $4,000 commission, and $10,125 was credited to us at closing!
