Gary is a true craftsman. He was on board with all of my ideas and thought of all the small details that I missed. He created the perfect guitar for me! I also suggest getting any and all that f your instruments set up by Tafty’s home for wayward guitars.

Gary's great! He is a master artist of custom guitars. I have bought guitars, have setups done, and he does amazing work at rebuilding basket cases that most would trash. Everything that leaves his shop is top quality. He did my kit guitar and she's a beautiful thing! I would not go to anyone else but Tafty's. You want quality at a good price and cares about your needs as a guitarist. He is your go to guy.

Highly recommend Tafty’s! I went there after seeing other reviews. I was so tired of music stores and their “guitar techs”. Gary actually knows his craft. My Jazz Bass had unbearable action and other issues. So bad, I was thinking of buying a new bass altogether. When I picked up my bass from Tafty’s, it was like new and sounded amazing. Do not hesitate to bring your guitar or bass here!

This is not an exaggeration my 1990 Fender strat was hit by a truck in my living room. I heard about Tafty from my friend Andy he was able to not only save the body but rebuild the guitar to better than new condition. He not only did this quickly but at a very reasonable cost
