(December 3, 2018, 2:46 pm)Great place to learn about the history and inner workings of the US Senate, plus the life and times of one of its longest-serving members, Edward (Ted) Kennedy. Visitors are handed handheld devices to help them navigate the museum and interact with the exhibitions. The space is huge but has just the right amount of exhibitions, so the experience is not overwhelming. Check out the large hall recreating the actual US Senate chamber in DC, where you can get a feel for what it's like to be a US senator voting on issues and legislation.
The staff are all pleasant and helpful. There is a gift shop and cafeteria on-site. -
