  the employee was very helpful by phone. I am with a business in another state. I called for help tracking a UPS package that was delivered to that location, ultimately destined for S. Hamilton. The person explained clearly that Beverly is a giant receiving hub for the area and that packages arrive there first. This may be good info to know of you live in the area. They deal with and disperse massive quantities of mail, and packages from UPS, Fedex and DHL, to surrounding post offices. With so many stops and trucks and hands between a sender and receiver, the risk for issues naturally increases. In this world of maximizing cost and efficiency, this is what we are gonna have to get used to, unfortunately. We want it NOW, for next to nothing. Logistics is a tough game.

  I called to try and redirect a package I had marked with the incorrect apartment number on; the guy who answered ( after 2 rings and no automated pick up!) took my information, located the delivery person, re directed the package and called me back a couple of hours later to let me know!
  His name was Jaren ( not sure of that spelling;)
  Super impressive!
  
  P.S This is a Delivery Distribution Center, not a full service post office. I had visited there previously, becuase my new apartment unit didnt have USPS set up yet to recieve mail.
  Super friendly staff in person; very courteous and quick service.

  NO STAMPS are sold here.
  They will take your stamped outgoing mail though.
