Did y’all know this single Island was created from the excavate of the Central Artery project (“The Big Dig”) during late 1980s and early 1990s? The two separate islands that looked like spectacles and were connected with that construction fill. I only know that because I was part of the consultant team as a traffic engineer planning for maintaining vehicle flow during construction.

The settlement from before has been destroyed by mirelurks but the place is still good for a settlement, just have to defeat a mirelurk queen and a few soft shell mirelurks.
