  I have been going to this MGH Revere location for almost 15 years now. It still is my favorite general hospital out of the bunch, not including the main campus in town. The staff is very knowledgeable and not all about having just medication being the cure all. They get to know their patients on a personal, human to human level, rather than just another number. They are thorough and offer most outpatient services like imagining, bloodwork, specialists, etc. They also take most insurances, including Masshealth. I have never waited long to see any adult or pediatric doctor. Whether I had an appointment or did a walk-in. I wish they did have better hours of operation though. They are not open on Sundays, Saturday only open until I think 1 and only other thing open is the lab for bloodwork &/or UA. Weekdays they are open until around 7-730, which isn't too bad but closer to 8-830pm would be better. They have a handicapped ramp and extremely limited handicap spaces right in front of the building that many people who do not have designated handicap vehicle identification park there constantly unfortunately. Also the worst part for me is parking. At certain times of day you can park for free right outside or on the beach or even in the MGH parking lot around the corner but the street parking is usually a hit or miss depending what time of day. If its before 430pm & you're trying to park on the street, goodluck. Most people who take the train in town for work or what not take those spaces, so unless you want to park on the beach and walk a good ways to the hospital then I suggest you get dropped off or drive around for a bit. The parking lot out back is a joke. Its actually aggravating. It is a smaller lot with easy access directly to the hospital but it is ALWAYS full and 99.9% of the time it is full by people who are not even going to the hospital. They have shack where a MGH guard or staff member supposed to be watching who comes and goes & you show them your validated ticket from your appointment but no one is EVER there. I actually had to cancel atleast 8 appointments due to never finding parking and I show up between 30 minutes and 1 hour early everytime just to look for parking. The parking lot is free too but something has to be done about watching who is coming to park there. Not fair for the patients. And if you have a nice vehicle or just dont want someone ding your car, dont park in the lot at all. Some of the spaces are in a bunch of crazy directions. They all are way too close to each other and its VERY difficult to pull out your space due to being so congested & just disorganized spaces.
