They focus on each child's individual needs, give the parents feedback that matters, and really listen to parents' concerns and objectives for their children. AMAZING educational experience for children.

(May 11, 2019, 5:47 am)Touchstone is a perfect fit for our two daughters. We wanted to give them an education that honored their creativity and gave them a voice. The teacher's are thoughtful, progressive, and supportive. I appreciate how our children's needs have been respected and attended to. Touchstone has been a wonderful place for our children to spread their wings and and has allowed them to find their passions and be comfortable in their own shoes.

(May 9, 2019, 11:27 am)Our daughter is just finishing her second year at Touchstone and we have had a fantastic experience. Their Pre-K/K program is absolutely wonderful and the teachers have been very supportive of our child. The child-to-teacher ratio is excellent and our daughter loves all of the teachers in the school. This is a progressive education school--there's a lot of flexibility, innovation, and outdoor play. When our youngest children are old enough, we definitely plan to send them to Touchstone.

(March 20, 2018, 10:46 am)Touchstone is a ideal place for kids to learn in a friendly, natural and joyous atmosphere.
We only discovered the school at the end of our daughter’s seventh year in public school.
The environment at Touchstone was so much more supportive, and the school had so many more outdoor activities that appealed to our child as she entered the eighth grade - the last grade they offer – at this marvelous place.
Touchstone is also better equipped to deal with the challenges of middle school age kids. Disagreements are talked through. Misunderstandings are actively encouraged to be cleared up, training our kids to be better citizens and human beings.
If you are looking for an alternative to public K-8 education, check out Touchstone Community School. They support joyful learning, being connected to nature, project-based/interdisciplinary learning and social emotional learning.
I only wish they offered a high school experience as well!
