  This has always been a great place to take the kids swimming. Now that the Town closed West Hill road, the beach entrance is closed. The main entrance is about a mile walk from the beach area now. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk, and the beach is now totally empty. If you feel like taking the family it's a very nice beach by the lake, but be prepared to walk.

  Not crowded...clean water for swimming...no annoying lifeguards

  I jog, bike, walk (even snowshoe) here all year long. Great place to get outside.
