  This rehab is good they care. Clean. They did not do as much interaction with the patient or rehab as i thought they would but it was the holiday weekend . The Dr was great . The nurses nice. The head of hospital nice my brother left a day early but i wish he had stayed a extra day to set things up for success. But they do really care. Thx to all the staff.

  I had the misfortune to have been in and out of Rehabs over the past two years. Most of the Rehabs that are around where I live were darn right horrible. I never expected perfection but, I never expected what I received either. The staff in most of the places was horrible for bedside care. They had disgusting attitudes. Most of them were put out to have to help me to being darn right rude. The food was terrible in most places, the nursing staff in most was good, physical therapy in most was not adequate and the nights were the worst as they would never answer the call bell so I could use the bedpan.
  
  However, I had two circumstances where I had to leave a regular hospital and continue hospital care/rehab. I was sent to Whittier Hospital and Rehabilitation. I could tell immediately this was certainly a cut above all the other rehabs. I had been to. The quality of bedside care from their staff was fantastic. They all had nice personalities, always smiled, they all gave me excellent care, the call light was answered, for the most part within 5 minutes, I do not remember them ever being short staffed and the nurses were all wonderful. The facility was very clean. My floor was washed everyday.
  
  The Rehabilitation side was almost exactly the same as the hospital side except that I had rehab. on that side. The rehabilitation was constant and became more intense as days went by as it should be. The therapists were excellent and very friendly. If I had a bad day and became upset with my exercises they would comfort me. They became my friends and I missed them when I went home.
  
  NO ONE ever gave me a bad attitude. They all appeared to love their job which was so refreshing. I always felt comfortable at Whittier. I was sent there twice to both the hospital side and the rehabilitation side. My experience was the same both times.
  
  A big plus for me, was as I improved, to be able to use a computer they had available to their patients. I think I was the only person who loved computers as I never had to wait to use it. This made me feel right at home.
  
  Would I recommend this facility to the readers, I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD.
