My wife had Smoked Chicken Wings and I had the Brisket plate, both were excellent. I also want to mention our waitress, Jessica, she was wonderful. We'll definitely be back. I had heard that Todd from Carnivores in Milford (a place I enjoyed) was hired as a cook and heard there was a smoker out back of the restaurant so I wanted to try the food, I wasn't disappointed.”

“Hotel Staff was so great! The location is awesome this hotel is connected to the DCC and we had our welcome party there so it was so convenient for guests. All staff was great and they let some of our weekend wedding guests check in early, they also handed out our welcome bags for us. We worked with Ashley Lanni and she was super responsive helping us book a hotel block, the welcome party, etc. The food was great at DCC too!”

“As far as prisons go, I really have no complaints about the procedures or how I'm treated as a family member. All the staff related to visiting have always been very courteous, helpful, and nice to me. The way the visiting room is set up you're actually allowed to sit next to your loved one as opposed to being set up at tables and having to sit across from each other with no contact. Visits can get very crowded, and they do put into place a first in first out policy if the visiting room is full and there are visitors waiting to see their loved ones. So be prepared for that if it happens. It's nothing personal, it's just their way of trying to be fair and letting whoever has visitors be able to see their visitors. As far as treatment of inmates go, like I told my loved one if he's respectful to them they most likely will be respectful to him. Every once in a while you're going to have a mean officer or you're going to have someone having a bad day or you're going to have someone having things going on at home that don't know how to leave their home problems at home and not bring them to work. I told him to be extra patient with officers and staff who come across as mean because there's probably something else going on in their lives. I told him instead of reacting to them to just pray for them instead. And that strategy has been working very well for him in not having any conflicts with correctional officers or administrative staff.”

Mix of Continental and made to order, and if you're anything like me, you sleepily look forward to perusing the Continental... I ended up turning around and going back to bed.
