“Our go-to Dunkin. They've done an amazing job with the coronavirus restrictions by providing oneway flow through the store and enforcing mask wearing. Plus they just remade a bagel for me because I asked for it sliced and not toasted and was concerned it may have been toasted. It could have just been warm from other food in my order but the person working there didn't hesitate to make a new one. Super impressed with them consistently.”

But when I walked in it was so much nicer than I imagined. Rumor has it one of the owners did the decorating. Super cool beach theme. Can you please come decorate my house! Place was extremely clean & the staff was equally as nice. I had a hard time deciding on what to order. So much looked tasty. I settled on the Surfboard; wheat wrap, egg, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, balsamic glaze. The bad news is it was soooooo good I seriously doubt I’ll try anything else. This place is a solid 10. I encourage others to frequent Shoreside Cafe. We need to do our part to ensure businesses like this flourish in Winthrop.”

The counter person wasn't specific when we asked what happened, but gave us 2 gift cards with our order to make up for the wait. A pleasant surprise. Top marks for her. “2/21/2022 - They definitely got some new staff because since moving to Regal Inn, I haven't had much problem with this location. Staff and service has been very good lately. Old review from 1/29/2021 - Manager was rude and condescending when I asked a question about whether or not the coupon reader was working on the counter because the front desk had a note that said “Cash Only”. I considered getting something else after eating my sandwich and small fries while waiting for a bus because I had to wait longer due to the Rover Bus having technical issues. Needless to say I left after her attitude trying to make me seem like the rude one.”

“I've unfortunately had a lot of emergencies with one of my dogs since COVID started this year. It is really tough to wait in your car or at home for hours for someone to call and give you updates on your pet, but its the same situation everywhere right now and I don't fault the VCA for this. I think they are trying their best to keep up but I have been concerned once or twice about how urgently they are attending to my dog based on her condition. I've been told in the past that they will bypass the "line" in order to see/treat the very urgent cases asap but I worry that they can't always make that judgement without seeing/evaluating the pet first. Most of the staff is really nice, professional and accommodating. I have come across 2-3 techs that have been flat out rude to me on the phone, but thankfully this is not usually the case. When my dog was here for an extended stay, they let me come visit her (outside only) one day just to put my mind at ease. Usually if my dog has to spend the night I will get a picture texted to me before bed or in the morning with an update, which is greatly appreciated. Doesn't always happen right now since they are so busy though. The doctors seem very thorough in their work and I like that they usually present me with my options and let me choose what I'd like to do - ex. "we can run bloodwork and also do an ultrasound, but if the cost is too much I'd recommend starting with just the bloodwork and we'll go from there". Lately my dog has been seeing Dr. Cornetta who is very patient with me and my frantic, anxiety-ridden questions. I trust her expertise and appreciate that she's trying her best to keep me calm throughout a pretty scary diagnosis/treatment plan with my dog!”

I’ve gotten my hair colored, highlighted, styled and cut and every single time I’m blown away by the results. The balayage ombré Kristina has done for me multiple times has continued to look sleek and freshly done even after 2/3 months, along with multiple hair washing’s. She’s done a caramel brunette balayage as well as an ashy blonde balayage which always comes out amazing. I’m never disappointed coming here and the staff always go above and beyond to meet their clients expectations!”

There is outdoor picnic style seating. The baked goods look great and the menu of sandwiches looks yummy. But I don't eat carbs so I can't tell you how they taste.”
