“Best gym I’ve ever belonged to. The workouts are TOUGH, but the HIIT model is great because you’re changing what you’re doing every minute or 2, and the trainers give many variations for whatever fitness level you’re at. Plus, workouts are only about 40 mins that goes by quickly. It’s a supportive, friendly, motivating environment (not cult-y and aggressive as crossfit can be) that makes me want to come to class. The instructors are just great—personable and helpful—and every class is different. Members are a wide range of ages (I’m 53) & fitness levels, and pretty evenly split between men/women. A lot of these types of gyms can be testosterone-y, too intense, and daunting to beginners, but both the instructors and members help you learn the moves and get your bearings in a way that feels welcoming. Can’t say enough good things about it.”

My doctor was actually the one at the desk to welcome me (a nice touch) and as soon as I was done getting checked in, I was lead to the exam room by the friendly technician. He performed some tests and took images, entertaining my curiosity and explaining the parts of my eye on the image...VERY cool. The doctor then came in to discuss my results after an extremely brief wait that couldn't have been 5 minutes. She was very reassuring and I just knew right away I was in good hands, feeling at ease right away (not my usual attitude in the optometry chair). It turns out I didn't need glasses this time but I'll be back next year for my annual exam! Seriously, this was the most flawless visit to the eye doctor I've ever had. I'd been putting off making an appointment because they're usually so unpleasant... not here at City Eye! Thank you!!”
