The sales lady Karen is a sweet southerner that will work around your schedule and go out of her way literally to accommodate you, she gives you her direct contact information and is always available for any questions that might come up, I have never been to an assisted living community and I've been out shopping around to find a place that best suites my grandmother, when you walk in the doors you actually feel at home, this place is family owned and operated and you can tell by the welcoming staff and residents. I loved it so much I decided to join Karen for lunch and the food was amazing it literally melted in my mouth. This place is well kept, the apartments are nice size the bathrooms of the apartments are the size of my den in my home. Im looking forward to bringing my grandmother back for a tour and lunch.. I know the Arbors will be her next home.”

In her final week, hospice services from Compassionate Care complemented the on-site staff's care. In our experience, the nursing staff was both competent and extremely caring. Unlike some facilities, you will not be overwhelmed with foul odors upon entering; it's clean and updated. I am grateful for the care they gave my mother during the final stage of her life and would definitely recommend the facility.”

“My siblings and I never thought we'd place our mother in a nursing home, but here we are. It got to the point where we simply had no choice; she couldn't take care of herself and we lacked the ability to take care of her ourselves. Knowing how much she valued independence, I felt somewhat guilty about the decision, but, in just a short period of time, that guilt evaporated...completely. In just two weeks, my mother became totally immersed in her new setting. Greenwood is a house, with a large lawn and beautiful grounds, very similar to where my mother was living previously. They even gave her a plot of land to grow tomatoes and basil because they knew how much she loved to garden. It wasn't long before she was talking about Greenwood as "her" home. It's like one big happy family there, and the residents and staff get to know each very well; it's a very intimate environment. My mother is very comfortable. She's happy. It's been years since I've seen her laugh so loud. She is an eager participant in the daily activities, and enjoys the close friendships she has developed. Greenwood brought her back to life.”
