“A beautiful building, and despite the fact that it is nearly 150 years old, it is very well maintained. Sections of books are organized in a logical manner, and there are a signs that specify what floor each section is on. Reference room is very quiet, with plenty of table space to accommodate many people. The children's section appeared to have a variety of activities, and of course, picture books. Staff is very helpful, and knowledgeable on the books and services they supply.”

“An outstanding resource in our small town. If they don't have it, they will get it for you quickly from the SAILS network. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I find it hard to believe that anyone would give the NPL less than 5 stars.”

“Excellent library with a huge selection of digital media including soundtracks and TV pilots. The upper level reminds me of the breakfast club. There is a courtyard that is open during good weather with tables and chairs. Drinks and snacks are available in the cafe area on the second floor. You can place holds on various entertainment electronics such as "ipad mini, kindle fire, chromebook, google home, amazon alexa, Super NES Classic to name a few. The fine for late DVDs is $2 a day. The library is closed on Friday. Wi-Fi is available.”

“Our family loves our town Library for many reasons. It is a comfortable place to sit, search for books, Dvd's, audio books, magazines, and newspapers. Staff are helpful, friendly, and efficient. The director, LeeAnn Amend has brought to the library so many interesting programs; such as the multi-series lectures on Alzheimer disease, Mental Health, local authors, and programs for toddlers, children, teens, and young adults. Families enjoyed the musical cafe which highlighted the different cultures represented in our town. We have used our library card to access Consumer Reports and to learn a new language with Mango. We donate books and shop at the annual Friends of the Library book sale. Our Library encourages our young people to use the facilities of our library; what better place for them to "hang out."”
