“Troop 87 eagle scout project completed in the fall of 2008 that includes the parking lot, picnic area, and a car-top boat access path down to the pond. Charcoal park grills were removed by the towns conservation commission in the summer of 2015, but the two picnic tables still remain (one is handicap accessible). Great location for a place to kayak or canoe, fish, or just have a relaxing evening by the water. A second eagle project was completed in the summer of 2014 that involved creating and updating a trail system that leads to the top of dead hill with the trail head located at the parking lot.”
