“I contacted Wayne for an estimate on a small exterior trim job. He came the next day and took the time to walk around the house with me so that I could show what I wanted to be replaced. I requested an estimate be sent by email and I received it the next day. I feel that the price was very fair, especially considering that it was not a large job but required staging to be set up. He gave me an approximate start date that was a few weeks out. I told him that was perfect. He kept me updated as the start time drew closer. I was vary happy when he emailed to say that he was ready to start on the week that was initially projected !! He arrived with a helper on time as scheduled. They were very skillful at "patching in" some areas of exterior trim as well as other work. I found both of them to be helpful and willing to offer advice when they found issues that needed to be addressed. They did a very good job of cleaning up after they were done and disposed of the old material for me. I definitely recommend Wayne and his company, New England Exteriors, for any exterior carpentry work that needs to be done. I will be using him again in the future, especially since I had a great experience at a very fair price.”

“Called Carpe Diem in January about a roof leak around the chimney. Mike came out in the cold, had a look, took a bunch of pictures, and advised me to replace the chimney before doing any roofing work. After the mason replaced the chimney, Mike came back and finished up the flashing, waterproofing, and fixed a few roofing mistakes around other vents. He did a great job and his prices were very competitive. Thanks to his advice (and pictures) I was able to stop the leak and proceed with an insurance claim. Can't recommend Carpe Diem highly enough!”
