(September 17, 2018, 12:00 pm)I've been going to Warren Dunes for years. Usually what I do is go hiking at the state Park for a bit, then eat somewhere on the way home, but usually not in the area. Yesterday I decided to try something in the area, and I found this place. It has a beautiful garden and nice outdoor seating, and I love the interior! It definitely has a foreign feel, which I really enjoy. Our waitress was nice, and the slow service reviews confuse me because we got our food no more than 20 minutes. The food was delicious! I can't remember the name of my dish, but it was the special. It had scallops in it, an assortment of vegetables and a delicious curry sauce that I could've literally drank. Wow! Why have I never been here? It's five minutes from Warren Dunes, if that. And finally, my dessert was one you don't see at many places: Mango Cheesecake. Don't get me started! The Mango flavor was great, and the texture was very creamy! I personally think this place is worth the money, and will be a tradition after going to Warren Dunes.

(September 2, 2018, 10:24 pm)Visiting the area and yelped this cafe. We shared a shrimp appetizer and 4 different entrees. Everything was delicious... 5 stars. Nice ambiance and service. Reasonably priced. I'd be a regular if I lived in the area!!

(August 4, 2018, 9:24 pm)Wow the food here is great especially after a long day at the beach. There is a bar here and the drinks are made proper. Lots of parking. Friendly service that is very accommodating. Definitely recommend.

I love Turkish food so finding Cafe Gulistan off I-94 was a pleasant surprise. While traveling from Chicago to Holland to see my in-laws we are often on the search for a good place to eat. As soon as we drove up I had high hopes for a good meal. The setting was beautiful in early May with the trees blooming and daffodils coming up in the garden.
