  This place has some of the best pastries I have had in a long time. Fresh baked pastries at a very affordable cost. The coffee cake is phenomenal and the coffee is just as amazing. I'd highly recommend checking this place out!

  Great bakery all around everything you can think of and more. Lines are long and the food is great. Get here early! Strawberry cupcake is Awesome!

  We chose Bit of Swiss for our wedding cake. We did a two tier cake for us to save the top for our anniversary and the bottom for our bridal party. Our cake tasting was fantastic and we ended up going with a strawberry raspberry filling. The cake looked absolutely fantastic the day of our wedding. The design was fabulous and it tasted even better!! Thank you Bit of Swiss for an awesome cake!

When the famed Whitcomb Hotel closed in 1966, Emil Tosi bought the equipment from their bakeshop and renovated a cabin on the Tosi property in Stevensville, Michigan. He called the former baker of the hotel, Hans Kottman, and in 1967 Hans opened Bit of Swiss.
