We took a huge leap of faith with Scott Siegert on our first project with him and his crew, and it paid off BIG TIME.

Services Performed: Full week of handyman/construction services, both inside and outside of my home. Built a railing, fixed several doors including antique pocket doors, fixed wiring and lights, re-built portions of our shed and re-shingled sections, installed siding onto our porch, re-stained multiple large porches, patched foundation and painted, painted chimney, constructed window based aluminum coverings for wood below all outdoor windows, Painted all exterior doors, fixed closet doors, completely renovated fireplace area and added a new tile flooring and grout and painted/patched walls, door adjustments, carpeted hallway and added floorboards and painted room, installed new flooring in bathroom, painted exterior of tub, patched and painted ceiling, installed new toilet, painted stair case and fixed broken trim and added decorative trim.

Communication (A+) - Scott is a true professional and his communication skills are excellent. I was located remotely throughout the project and Scott went out of his way to send me Text messages with attached pictures of each stage of the project to keep me abreast of progress. The scope was clear and his proposal was well done. He also started the work early and finished early, knowing that we were under a real time crunch to complete this work.

Quality (A) - Scott's work was near perfect. I'm meticulous, but I didn't find a single issue with the work that was done. That is rare with this much work being done. He took good notes before he started and worked with me via email and text messages along the way to ensure that he picked out materials that would fit my taste. Giving me options was great, but his taste in the options was also great so I couldn't go wrong. Scott also wasn't willing to skimp when it came to safety or his "good name". He refused to do the fireplace portion of the project per my original request but explained the safety issues to me with my request and give me options. I appreciate that he did the right thing and still gave me good options for completing the job, while maintaining a safe project.

Honesty (A) - Scott ensured that his work was done to my liking before completing payment. In fact, he did a lot more than I expected with several portions of the project which were not in the scope, but were discussed. The additional work that he did on my staircase trim and paint (several doors that were dingy but not on the original list) really showed me that he was concerned about my money and wanted to make sure that I got good value for what I spent. He was true to his word on the timing (which was difficult to meet, given the last second request). He built some trust with me.

Cost (A) - Scott's cost was in line with other contractors that also bid my job (if not a slight bit lower, considering what he delivered). My cost check on him via the bidding process tells me that his pricing was definitely fair.

Overall (A) - I'd recommend him and his crew to anyone that needs construction/handyman or painting services. Painting is in their name, but they obviously do much more. I gave him more work (unexpected), so please just wait to tie him and his crew up until I'm finished with my last project. Scott definitely increased the value of my home (getting ready to sell), and it will make a huge difference for me. Thank you!
