“This is such a cool shop! I always insist we stop here when we're in the area. The owners are very chill and content to let you walk around and appreciate the effort that has gone into curating each piece. The pieces are out of the ordinary price range for an antique shop, but for good reason. Many of these items are extremely old, rare, or popular. It feels more like a gallery than a store in some ways. The music, flow, and pieces in the shop always make the stop worth it. I highly recommend visiting!”

They were in and out within an hour, even after having to go through the toilet to find the tree root that was blocking our pipes! “Jim responded to a heating 911 following the failure of a gas valve to the furnace during the coldest week in 2019. With wind chills of -40 degrees outside, he was prompt, courteous, kept others informed in a prompt manner; 1. During the time of inspection, 2. Obtaining the parts he needed to complete the repair and 3. Upon completion of the repair, so 4. next steps could be taken in sequence to bring all the remaining home systems back online safely. We wanted to take a moment to Thank Jim for his support and focus with our issues, when we also realize that he had other customers also facing a similar challenge, he was working with. “This place is great. It’s the second vacation where I’ve used them to rent a Maui Mat and other beach gear. Friendly, clean place with almost everything you need to have fun at the beach. I do wish they had snorkeling gear and I highly advise arranging to pay to have the Maui Mat brought down to the beach and back up. My kids had hours of fun on that thing, definitely worth it.”

“I called from MEXICO on one of the coldest, snowiest days of the year to order flowers for my daughter, not knowing if the store would be open. Her father had died recently in Mexico, but had sent her flowers on her birthday every year he was alive. The florist “happened” to be there, but was closing. She immediately sent flowers, and “happened” to put them in a cobalt blue vase, my daughter’s favorite. She was thrilled with the flowers on a sad, snowy day, and asked if I requested the special blue vase, too. I replied, “No, Dad did.” Thank you, NB Florist, for miraculously bringing beauty and joy to our family during a very sad time! Gratefully, Judy Swindle”

“Fishing, Snacks, and Movies. Yes the video store is part of the same business. I stopped in yesterday(Sat. 9/22) and got my 24hr Out of State fishing license. I spoke to the owner and his Mom(I think). They are very nice people. While the owner was printing my license he told me how her gets call at all hrs of the night because Google did a poor job of setting things up. I went over what he could do to fix it and take ownership of his Google page. Best wishes to another family owned and operated business.”
