Ron's Carpet & Design

Used them twice through Costco. Once for the carpeting on the main floor (more cost effective that Home Depot with a better product too) and again for the basement remodel using both carpet and luxury vinyl. Pricing is very fair for the product you get (especially with the Costco cash back) and they have been professional both times. It did take a couple days to wrap up some loose ends with the basement install, but that was mainly due to my availability and basement floor layout which they worked to resolve with me while I was out of town.

Ron's is family owned. They are very helpful, and I've had wonderful experiences with them for carpet and laminate floors. I have recommended them to family and friends.

Hired through Costco. Installed Shaw luxury vinyl flooring in living room and den. Installed by Jay and Jim. They did a fantastic job. Very conscientious, friendly, hard working and high quality work. Even though sourced through costco we felt like we were dealing with a high quality family business..which Ron’s is. Very happy with the work. Highly recommended!

Ladies and Gentleman there is flooring and then there is Ron's Carpet & Design! When Derick consulted with us initially via CostCo we had questions about the pitch of our drains in the basement and how this would be addressed ... then there was questions about doing our stairs leading to the basement with the Cortec Vinyl Planks---I wish we could upload photos of the finish job and the craftsmanship and yeoman work that was done! Our expectations were exceeded! The expert who installed our floor his name is Jerry-they call him Jay for short. This guy is trustworthy and meticulous. We left him in our home unsupervised for hours and they did not know we had cameras--he came early and wanted to work late until the job was on schedule for that day according to the stringent requirements of Project Management.

He did such a stellar job we got Jerry or Jay to install crown molding around the base of our home and he was able to install the door lock as well. I learned from this Skill Tradesman the in and outs of Flooring. We live in Grosse Pointe Woods and as many of you know we have a standard of home upkeep and beautification and using Ron's Carpet & Design elevated our home value where even our tax assessor admired Jerry's (Jay's) work!
