Before we found Outside OT, our family was struggling to help our daughter build the emotional regulation skills that she needed in daily life. Our daughter was frequently overcome with anxiety in social situations, which often resulted in an inability to focus and physical/emotional outbursts. We had tried more traditional OT clinics in the past, but felt that the focus was always on the physical aspects of OT and not the emotional. We’re so happy that we found Nicole at Outside OT! Not only did we love her nature-centered approach, but she also went above and beyond to hear our concerns and really get to know our daughter in order to help her best reach her goals. I was amazed at how early we began to see results. Our daughter’s confidence in her ability to self regulate quickly improved. She began using the tools that she learned at Outside OT to recognize and communicate her emotions before letting her anxiety overcome her. This resulted in a dramatic improvement in her ability to focus and complete tasks during school time and better navigate social situations with friends and family members. We would most definitely recommend Outside OT to any family. I guarantee that it will quickly become one of the most anticipated parts of your child’s week!

(August 28, 2021, 1:36 pm)WOW! That is the best word I can use to describe my 6- year old grandson’s experience with Nicole at Outside OT. I was looking for someone to work on his handwriting and fine motor skills, and did she ever deliver. In a totally fun and relaxed setting, he worked on letter formation and fine motor skills. The outdoor activities and warm up exercises all supported his handwriting improvement. As a bonus, Nicole continually offered me fun ideas for how to work with him at home. My grandson looked forward to his time at Outside OT. Nicole is a great resource and I would highly recommend her for anyone needing extra support.

(July 13, 2021, 7:55 am)Nicole has helped my child start to thrive in his relationships with other kids! We saw a difference in his behavior pretty fast and our family is so grateful for how this has helped us. Definitely recommend for any child!
