Great experience, very helpful staff. Had a quick turnaround flight to pick up my 5 year old. His mom forgot I was flying with Spirit & gave him a carry on instead of a backpack (I know, TMI😂). I asked the hotel to please hold the small carry on luggage at the hotel until I return the following week & not only did they say yes, they were very helpful in getting it done. I was able to fit my sons stuff in my backpack & it saved me around 150 dollars on bag fees. Thank You Holiday Inn staff for your help on such short notice. The gentleman that helped me on Sunday morning went way above & beyond to help me out & it is highly appreciated. Everything else about my stay was also amazing!!

I come to Phoenix often for work and I think I may have finally found my go to hotel! I'm so shocked to see the amount of bad reviews here. My experience was wonderful - the room was spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable I had the best night of sleep in a hotel I've had in awhile. I love that they provide a microwave in the room as so many hotels are doing away with that. The shower worked well - it did leak a little if you didn't push the handle far enough but easy to solve. The workout room was small but had an upright bike which I prefer over a recumbent bike. The location was fantastic - close to the interstate and also very close to a nice running trail. I definitely plan to stay here again!

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is a good alternative if you're trying to catch a red-eye out of the Sky Harbor Airport. Our flight to New York departed at 5 A.M. so we had to be at the airport around 3 in the morning. We live in Phoenix, but didn't want to take a chance driving on the interstate at that hour in the morning. Ever since they legalized pot, Phoenix has had more than it's share of impaired and wrong-way drivers. Duhh. Better to just stay off the roads after midnight.
The hotel was clean and quiet. Our check-in went smoothly and the girl at the front desk managed to get our wake-up call at 2 A.M. Other than the lobby, we didn't notice much of the hotel other than their indoor pool. We heard several of the guests mention that the water was nice and warm. We also noticed that there was a Waffle House restaurant next to the hotel. Not my favorite cuisine, but convenient.
Clean, quiet, and close to the airport earns four stars. Honestly, I rarely give five star reviews.
