Great campground well shaded I had a water view site. The owner is a really neat lady. I have never been any where I haven’t had to fill out a bunch of paperwork before getting settled in. I am disabled and she came to my site. Very quiet My only complaint is with the power company who shut it down one night to do some work.

A no fuss, deep water, lovingly owned, family run, marina. Floating docks. Haul out/winter storage available, including sailboats. Oh, and campground also, with old beautiful trees.

Great location for those who love being outdoors, and those who have dogs.
Very quiet at night. Nestled in tall trees with a beautiful river next to the campground. What could be better than falling asleep to the sounds of flowing water outside your window and waking up to a sunrise over the water out your front door ?
Clean campground and big bathrooms that are temperature controlled with private showers. Washers and dryers were efficient and cheap. And it was half the price of similar campgrounds !!

Within walking distance of The Clamdigger restaurant (4.5 🌟) Only 2 miles to the historic downtown district with shops and an amazing farmers market.

The camp hosts were happy, friendly, helpful and honest. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back.

I had the most amazing week staying at River Raisin campground. Being a disabled, retired army vet, I was taken by surprise how welcoming everyone was to me. The other campers, Veronica and the rest of staff were friendly and helpful. The fishing was world class. I recommend this campground to everyone. What a fun experience.

The actual place was nice. The manager lady rented us a spot where someone had rented the dock. So we would've opened up the door and been looking at the boat. I was informed by someone (not manager) he (boat owner) pays for the entire spot all year. So we parked on the point. We arrived a little later than anticipated. She told us to go to the point and she'd show us where to park. Half hour later we chose to park it on the point. An hour later she came to tell us we shouldn't have parked there and that we were damaging the grass. Also that we parked our cars wrong too. I am a smoker. I had to drop my cig to deal with a water leak emergency and fully intended to pick it up as soon as said problem was fixed. She seen it there and acted like I was the worst person ever. Telling my husband we don't do that here and to pick it up!! BTW I leave nothing behind!!!! She popped up several times too. We had a visitor show up. She promptly turned up again to tell him to move his car and to pay visitor fee. He just got there and where he pulled in there is no office to pay. We hadn't had time to help him unload his fishing gear and follow him to pay and drop off his truck before she was there to complain. Everything else was amazing. I hope she sees this and changes her habits. Also she wasn't there when we went to drop off cord and hose the maintenance man had dropped off for us to use. He seen where we were parking and didn't say a word about we shouldn't park there. He was also very kind and helpful. The stars are for him and the actual sight. However we were told the dump site was broken. Not good.
