Dr. Matthew Yousif is a gifted, caring and compassionate healer. I was desperately searching for relief from constant pain in my right shoulder, increasing loss in range of motion, and overall strength in the arm following an accident. For two years I tried every conservative remedy from physical therapy to pain management training and cortisone injections; had consulted several surgeons, but when I viewed a short video of a surgical repair being performed and narrated by Dr. Yousif, I knew instantly that he was the "real deal" and that I could entrust him with my shoulder, arm and the quality of my life and he has delivered beyond all my hopes and expectations. I fractured my shoulder and tore my labrum, I went to Dr. Yousif and had a great experience. Dr. Yousif has great bedside manner and really cares about his patients. Lots of Orthopedic doctors want to rush you into having surgery as a first option. Dr. Yousif evaluates his patients and does not push surgery on his patients unless it is absolutely necessary. I followed Dr. Yousif’s treatment plan and my shoulder was able to heal without surgery.
