I am so happy to have given my uncle a comfortable and dignified life at Haven Lee Homes.

I toured Haven Lee Homes prior to them opening several years ago and have since then recommended their home to anyone that is in search of a safe and home like environment for their loved ones.

There are several things that you will notice when you first walk into the home and I would say that the greatest thing is that you will see is that it is indeed a HOME. You smell home cooked meals, comfortable and open living environments, and the warmth from every single staff member that works there.

There is a lot of hesitation to move a loved one out of their home to a facility. They are so big and they don't really give you that "at home" feeling. In our case we needed this because my uncle had a brain injury and dementia so he was deeply confused when he was not in this environment. We had moved him from an independent living where he was living on the 7th floor and was segregated from anything happening outside his small one bedroom apartment. He thrived upon his move. He was willing to sit in the family room and spent a lot of time in the sunroom. He appreciated the fresh coffee every morning and all the meals that were provided. It was lovely.

I (without hesitation) would recommend Haven Lee Homes to anyone looking to place their loved on in a family friendly environment where they have the freedom to live to their maximum capacity (and are encouraged to). I should also mention that it is EXTREMELY clean. There aren't any weird smells or any other questionable issues that you may expect from an assisted living.

There was zero guilt in moving my uncle into this home. We were very confident in our decision and he was extremely happy.

My brother was in the end stage of Parkinson's Disease and required more care than I could provide. He was discharged from the hospital to Haven Lee Homes and I could not have been more pleased with the love, care and support he received from them. They are proof that there are angels among us.

My sister came to live with us after needing more care than the Oxford AFC home could provide. We searched and searched for the proper placement and we couldn’t be happier with the care she receives at Haven Lee Homes. And my sister is so happy! It is a beautiful home with kind and caring staff. Our entire family has been so pleased! Haven Lee Homes has provided the best care my sister has ever received in my 29 years of being her guardian! A lot of prayers were answered with Haven Lee Homes.We thank God we found you.

I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful place for my mom! My brothers and I have been dreading having to place my mom in an assisted living facility, but the time had come where she could no longer live alone anymore. It was just by luck that we found this home through a social worker. I had no idea that homes like these existed. It has worked out far better than I ever dreamed of. The place is so homey and comfortable. I also love it because there are only about 6 residents who live there so they all get such great individual and personal attention. My mother loves talking to the other residents instead of being by herself all the time. We are able to come and see her whenever we want and even have meals with her, which by the way the food is fantastic!! I cannot say enough about the staff. They are absolutely superb!! They go above and beyond taking care of each and every one of their residents to make them feel comfortable and feel like a family. I have never seen my mom so happy. It is truly amazing to see such a drastic change in her since she has been living here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for placing a loved one in a caring and loving environment.
