As a black belt here, I can safely say that this has been one of the things that shaped my character as a whole. This has taught me several valuable lessons including resilience, self-confidence, and respect. The community and teachers here are of utmost quality, and are simultaneously able to create a fun and beneficial experience. The hours are extremely flexible and there are no fixed times where you need to come in. You are able to get so much out of it even if you just show up two times a week. I 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to learn self-defense or send their kids here instead.

My wife and I recently sat in on a class for 3-6 yr olds at CFMA and were impressed. The session covered all the bases: developing some fitness, agility, confidence, ability to listen, discipline, and even some meditation. And it was all done in a fun way that allowed for each child’s capacity (the teacher was very gifted). We could also see that our little 4 yr old great niece was at the early stages of learning how to look after herself which would be an added bonus. She loves this class and so did we.
