I have been visiting churches in the area and was very impressed with this place. Even after one visit it was clear just how much this church functions as a family; everyone is so welcoming. Sometimes a warm welcome can be overdone, uncomfortable, and forced - but this was a truly genuine experience. They preach the word of God (no prosperity gospel) and leave plenty of opportunities to get involved, serve your community, and further your own faith/knowledge. Go worship with them and see for yourself!
I have been attending and serving Bloomfield Church for more than 35 years and the most prevalent thing is the Gospel (God's True Truth), which has been consistently preached every Sunday. It is a very loving congregation.
Very welcoming and friendly church. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Very theologically sound. The pastor teaches the truth of the Bible. The church has many events throughout the week such as bible studies for adults and young adults. Every Thursday they have kids club for children 3 years old to 5th grade. Overall a great place full of passionate people who love Jesus.
Overall, this church is home, and it has been amazing to be apart of this family.

They have pastors who are theologically sound. They preach from the Bible and do not distort it. The church body is loving and they are prayer warriors. We may be small in numbers but our faith in God is strong and I could not be more thankful for that. Every morning we welcome each other to church. Every message ends with the gospel message in hopes to plant seeds of Christ in any and all visitors to our church. We recognize the power of God and trust in it. Our Chior and band is so talented. Our church aims to inform the younger kids on theology and apologetics. We have great day and night events such as Thursday Bible studies and classes, Friday young adult Bible study. Thursday women’s prayer, Friday morning men’s breakfast, Saturday morning men’s Bible Study and Wednesday morning, women’s Bible study. We so have annual events, pie and Praise for thanksgiving, Christmas brunch, church picnic, Woodward dream cruise evangelism and more. All of these things help us with our fellowship to Christ and our relationships with each other.
The most loving and welcoming Church I have ever been to. You will be noticed and invited into the Church family from your first visit. They are also known for having answers to any question you have about the Bible or Religion. The preaching and teaching is the best in Detroit. They teach through the Bible and have many different studies to equip all ages. The leaders are truly available for your family in tough times. More Churches should be striving for what Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church Has.
