My daughter has participated in the face to face program, individual therapy and dbt group therapy. I highly recommend New Oakland and the therapists that she had had, in particular Shamiya and Jillian. Dr. Collins helped find a medication combination that has worked well.

I came to new Oakland because I was having really bad anxiety to the point where I couldn’t function. The staff helped me a lot and I left feeling a LOT better now that I have spent time here. They gave me really good coping skills and an outlet to talk about what I was going through. I also had to spend time in the eating disorder ward and it helped me start eating normally again.

My therapist Sherry helps me a lot. I enjoy talking to her. My experience in IOP was better than the one in Clarkston.
