Would recommend! I was referred here by my other local vet because they were booked. Quick, friendly, patient, professional.
Got my dog in next day, diagnosed him within a couple hours, and the issue was resolved quickly! My only pain point was pricing but that is expected as all vet visits are expected.

    Details:
My dog had a loss of appetite for several days and was acting sad/lathargic on top of that. When he stopped eating treats and table scraps I brought him in. They were quick to react with aplan and ended up putting him on a sedative to find a hole under his tongue (likely from a stick puncture). They gave antibiotics for the infection and pain medication. That evening he was able to eat bland food and drink water for the first time in days and is continuing to make the full recovery. The examination, sedative procedure, and medication/injection cost about $600. Hard to swallow (no pun intended) but well worth the price to have him back to normal.

I highly recommend Blue Cross for your veterinary needs! I’ve been taking my cats here for over a year and Dr. Sharma along with all of his staff have always been kind and helpful! In particular I must also praise Dr. Sharma’s expertise in diagnosing and managing my elderly cat’s diabetes. I receive prompt phone calls regarding her test results and am comfortable discussing my questions with him. There is no one I would trust more with her care!

EDIT: Was called by the head vet and he was very nice and understanding of the situation and resolved all issues. Review is changed to 5 stars

Just moved to Royal Oak and I would love to give 4 or 5 stars but when I visited today, they didn’t honor the “First exam free!” that is posted on the front page of their website. It was a quick visit for an ear infection, they were prompt and due to covid, I couldn’t go past the entrance vestibule. You must leave your pet in the vestibule and wait in the parking lot, then they perform the exam and call you and you go pick up your pet back in the vestibule.
The reasoning for not honoring this coupon was given after my card had been charged and the receipt had been emailed. The reason was due to covid they have to sanitize extra after each visit so they aren’t honoring what’s posted on the front page of their website.
I think this is kind of silly as they should sanitize anyways after a visit and the only people allowed inside the building are their own employees. Other businesses aren’t charging more due to “extra sanitation”, so it’s interesting why a business that should sanitize their building regularly, perhaps more than most, would use that as an excuse to not honor promotions. However, this is my opinion and probably some people will disagree but, unfortunately, I think that if something is posted on the front page of the website at the time of the visit you should honor it. Especially since websites can be changed instantly, if you’re not honoring a promotion where its main reason is to get people in the door, then you should change the website.
I think a possible solution for me to change my rating would be to refund the price of the exam/office visit as the promotion states.

I made a visit here on recommendation from my daughter, I have been taking my dog to eye specialist and have needed Cyclosporine drops. This practice makes the drops themselves and I am able to buy 3 times the quantity for the price I’ve had to pay through veterinary pharmacy’s. I have been using the drops for over a year now. My eye specialist has been happy with the results.
