Foundry 13 Detroit

All gyms are most definitely not created equal, and here's why. Foundry 13 is electric. I'm like a moth to a flame to this place and if you ask any one of their members, I bet they would say the same. The gym, the owner, the coaches, all flow with the same energy, the same professionalism and the same desire to make you work harder for why you step through those doors everyday. Should I go on about the community that exists inside and outside of this space? What about the state of the art equipment or how every inch is cleaned morning, noon, and night so members feel clean and safe in the space they sweat? Foundry 13 ticks all my boxes. Period.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. The staff and members really make the setting of this gym feel like a community/family. Generic weight training was a getting a bit monotonous so I joined Foundry. By far the best move I could've made for my fitness.

This is the best place for an amazing workout. The owner and the other trainers are the most amazing at helping you push towards your goals and see the results in training that you want to achieve. The people are like family that are there for you in support and camaraderie in a smaller more personalized environment. It's just FUN! You won’t believe it until you come and try it.

Kris is one of the most motivating and energetic trainers you could possibly ever encounter. She is eager to help all her clients, especially the ones who struggle with injuries or are hesitant about working out in general. She takes her time and is VERY thorough in explaining and implementing best work out habits, to minimize risk of injury. I do small group training and was not much of a work-er out-er before I joined f13, but Kris and her other trainers have been a game changer for me. Gym is exceptionally clean, with awesome amenities. Classes are intense, no matter how athletic you are and there’s so much variety in the workouts Kris maps out. Awesome gym with great energy!

This gym is a massive game changer. Kris Smith injects soul and fire into this gym that makes the workouts adventurous and extremely important to your growth and outlook to fitness in general. All your myths about working out will get shattered here as you realize nothing is impossible and the only person who is instrumental in that change in your mind & body is Kris Smith. No workout is the same here, it’s ever dynamic with so many amazing global trends being incorporated into your daily routine you will feel like you’re on par with the world. The people that come to this gym are so amazing, supportive and crazy inspirational! Any age, any stage, here you will see people doing amazing hard work! So many take aways from this gym that it’s no longer just a gym it’s part of your lifestyle and you will be ever so grateful for it! I know I am.
