Midwest Refineries

I have dealt with Midwest Refinery many time and I was very pleased every time

Have used them a couple of times. Both times the amounts were over 1k dollars. Their numbers seem to be spot on. They seem to be fair with their calculations. They know what they are doing. I believe they actually pay more then most places. Its nice to know your getting treated fair when you send someone your gold. Turnaround was pretty fast to I had a check within the week. Thanks gary for handling my shipment and being prompt with returning messages. Will come back in the future.

I used Midwest Refineries a couple of years ago, and went looking for their info today to recommend them to another jeweler. They were super fast in processing my sterling and fine silver scrap, and I got a nice check back very quickly. When I made my initial inquiries over the phone, the receptionist was thorough in her explanations. I'll definitely be using them again.

I have done Business with this company for many years. (probably 50+ times I've sent scrap in) I've learned how to estimate how much I should get back and they are typically very close to my estimate. If something is NOT gold or silver they notify me by phone and I usually just tell them to discard it. Turnaround is usually very fast, and I get the payments quick. I've even sent them unmarked scrap and they have tested it, paid me for what's real.

I have sent them a number of shipments of gold and silver over the last decade, ranging from a single ring worth $250 to a pile of stuff worth $4k. I've always been very satisfied. Their payout is substantially better than even a reputable jeweler (which has to resell to a refinery). Their turnaround time is very fast (unless there is a historic runup in metals prices, like in 2011, when they got flooded with shipments and had a backlog).
