Motor City Hot Tubs, Swim Spas and Outdoor Living

Have had some issues with my hot tub since I purchased. Initially quite frustrated. However, once I got Motor City involved they assured me not only will my problem be fixed, they will help me along the way.

Not every item sold is perfect despite being new. Knowing someone is willing to back a product they sell speaks volumes. Would recommend. Thank you for helping us.

We purchased a hot tub from Motor City last year, honestly, the tub itself is great, however, we have a ripped cover and was told that a warranty replacement was approved on June 1, 2023, it is now September and still no cover, that is approximately 15 weeks. When I call, email or anything, to get an update, the only response I get is "we will let you know" which in my opinion not acceptable service, in fact, probably the worst customer service I have experienced. Only reason I am giving three stars is because the tub is good and functioning well. However, when it comes to customer service very disappointed in the answers and response. They have told us that MC Hot Tubs receives a delivery once per month from the tub manufacturer, so we are hoping that we have the new cover this month, if not, I guess we will have to wait longer.

Update: Joe from Motor City, called and said he will follow up with manufacturers, and reach out for more detail, also offered to deliver and remove old cover. All we need is some feedback, thank you. - updating review to 4 stars

After years of wanting a hot tub we finally pulled the trigger. Joe at Motor City Hot Tubs was a great salesman that walked us through the process. He answered all my questions and we decided to go with the Wellis Taurus model. The price was good and the delivery was fast. The hot tub is amazing with the led lights and the lighted fountains. We got the model with the lounger that is so relaxing. Thank you so much Motor City Hot Tubs!

Purchased swim spa at Novi show. Scott the owner was very informative and accommodating for the purchase. He was very flexible with add ins & deposit. Jennifer checked in several times while we were getting our yard ready for the spa. She was very patient and helpful as we were waiting to get our concrete pad poured. Once we were finally ready for delivery, she handled final payment and scheduled delivery promptly. The three young men that delivered the spa did a great job. The one gentleman clearly showed us the spa components & explained operation and start up. A few days later Jen called to follow up to make sure everything was okay and to see if we had any questions or needed anything. The entire process was well done. Thanks

Good folks selling a good product. As a customer these two characteristics are hugely important and after much research and visits to other places we ended up parting with our money using Motor City. Everything they told me was accurate 4-6 weeks for delivery from factory, check! Delivery on... check! They are also patient with new hot tub owners, always a good thing!! Thank you folks!
