“Our kitchen at Farmington Oaks apartments has been remodeled as promised! New custom, solid wood maple cabinets with designer handles; elegant white Quartz countertop with under the countertop sink; modern tall neck, one handle faucet (so easy to fill a deep pot or pitcher without moving faucet spout out of the way) new white GE stove with an over the stove microwave, and new touch control dishwasher with stainless steel inside. Kitchen has ceiling overhead track lighting, providing the kitchen with nicely illumination with no dark areas. The master bathroom has a new white cabinet, sink and designer single handle faucet. Since I am disabled, Farmington Oaks replaced the toilet with new Mansfield taller ADA one for me. A new larger over the sink mirror and light fixture with bright halogen bulbs completes the fresh new look. The second bathroom was also updated with new a sink, designer faucet and countertop. Additionally, all door lock sets and hinges have been replaced with modern brushed nickel hardware, refreshing the look to our updated apartment. Last, the professional and very talented remodeling teams completed this remodel two days! Demo, new electrical wiring for microwave, patching, painting, installation of cabinets, countertops, appliances and plumbing. They left no mess and vacuumed and mopped the floors. We thank them several times for amazing remodeling the entire team did. We understand that over the next few months all the apartments with be remodeled plus the elevators. We enjoy living at Farmington Oaks Apartments.”

“This was my first apartment, and I am pleased with it. The apartments are spacious with a lot of storage, including storage outside of the unit, though I never used that. Admin and maintenance have always been responsive. Very little issue with pests and the like. Never hear anything from the other apartments through the walls, though if they are in the hallway you will hear them. I did have a few issues, one where our AC was out near the beginning of summer. It took a few visits from maintenance and eventually they had to call in outside contractors to replace the entire unit. Additionally, the shower water pressure is not great. On the plus side, the water gets hot quickly. My main issue is the laundry situation. There is one washer/dryer for the 8-unit building, and they are small. It costs 2.00 to wash and 1.75 to dry. Plus to fill up the laundry card you have to go to the leasing office, there's no app or machine in the building. The kitchen is pretty small, especially if you have to keep things on the counters. The location is great, you could walk to downtown if you wanted to (like a half mile), there's a 7-11, Rite Aid, and Busch's within walking distance and a good amount of restaurants as well. The mail boxes can be pretty far, but I found it tolerable when I signed up for Informed Delivery through USPS so I didn't walk across the complex to an empty mailbox. I also like how relatively small the complex is. No matter what building you're in you're not far from one of the exits.”

“Lived here for 12 months in 2021. Moved in with some issues since it was a "renovated unit". Almost everything was new, although the cabinets were not the style I was expecting from the tour I was given. The coaxial outlets were painted over so I had maintenance bring over new ones that I installed myself, I was impressed at how fast they responded. Valet trash was convenient but I couldn't handle the lack of recycling so I ended up bringing most boxes to a recycling place on my own. My fridge had an issue that was also responded too very quickly. I never had an issue with bed bugs or mold. Neighborhood was quiet, although I never used the pool or gym amenities. Parking was convenient, my sheltered parking spot was only taken twice by a new tenant who didn't understand the rules. Moving out was also pretty painless. My rent term was a year and a day for some reason, so I had to pay a prorated day of rent and utilities, and I almost had to pay for an extra month of renters insurance, otherwise, it was a standard 60 day notice and the walk-through showed no issues; my refund was given in full. All in all, the price was a little high for a sleepy neighborhood, but the experience was positive in its entirety!”
