The atmosphere is like any sit down restaurant with fitting seaside decor to complete the vibe. We started off with a Rum Punch Bucket to share and was able to immediately place our order. I ordered the Daily Special in the A+ Sauce and my husband ordered the Catfish Basket with Cajun Fries. Everything was DELICIOUS! I loved everything about this restaurant and I would highly recommend and give them an A+ overall!!! We took our kids and got 3 different combo seafood boils and combined them and it was just as amazing as our first experience!”

“This place and the people who work there are amazing. After work I stopped to get some seltzers, the guy behind the counter (didn’t get his name, what a shame) was super pleasant, completed my transaction and headed to my car. Get to my car and realize somehow my car key came off my key ring and I am stranded. He helped me look for my key while helping customers and just when I thought I was SOL he thought, he would check the seltzers I bought and it was there!! Who knows what I would have done if he hadn’t found it for me! When I recover from my embarrassment I will definitely be back!”

“Mr and Mrs Kim run this Japanese/Korean restaurant, and I am totally hooked! I have eaten here four times in the past three weeks, and i keep forgetting to leave them a review. I usually so stuffed and entering a food comma that I forget to get a photo before I leave. I managed to remember before I ate all the food again. I had a rainbow roll and Bibimbap The sushi is super fresh and crispy rice addict in the hot stone bowl that bibimbap is served in. If your in the area or lucky enough to live near this hidden gem, then stop by and give them a try. Luckily, my aunt lives close. I would always drive by and think to my self 🤔 is that place any good? We'll I'm here to set it straight. This place is legit! The only reason I gave them four stars for the atmosphere was because this type of food needs to be enjoyed elbows to elbows with other's. So do your part to bring the 4 stars to a 5 by becoming part of the atmosphere!”

“Today I got to enjoy a rare lunch date out with my wife. We've eaten at an old location closer to Square Lake Rd years ago and really enjoyed it back then. Decided today to stop in on the way through and glad we did! The fish sandwich was great, not too much breading and on a perfectly chewy bun. Fries are tasty and the coleslaw was a good treat as well. My wife really enjoyed the barbecue chicken chopped salad. It seems that more and more restaurants aren't focusing on good salads these days but she said this one was excellent and would definitely order it again. Our service was great even during a busy lunch hour and a full parking lot. Our waitress kept the drinks full. Will definitely be stopping in again to enjoy some more goodies from the menu!”

“I had to come back to Green Lantern today for their amazing pizza!! I have had many pizza's over the years at different pizza places from Jets, Alibi, Buddy's. You name it I probably had it. But I have to give this Green Lantern pizza in Rochester one of the highest 5 stars. You can tell they make everything fresh. The cheese, pepperoni is by far the best flavor I have ever had. There is something about Green Lantern pizza in Rochester that is absolutely fantastic!!. This is a must try place for the best pizza around in Rochester. Please don't take my advise. “I love Leo's Coney Island restaurants so when I'm close to one then I stop as I live in Muskegon. The only complaint that I have at this location was the wait staff, which there was about 3 customers including us and there was 3-4 wait staff. We sat for a couple minutes before anyone even acknowledge us for drinks and a menu and they had to wipe down the table as it was dirty. So, that is my only complaint about this location, food was awesome.”

“Tried this BBQ spot for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! The patio seating area was well heated and the tables all had 4 different BBQ sauce selections. Ordering your food is easy and then they bring it out to you. The service was friendly and fast! I ordered the pulled pork, St. Louis ribs, Mac and cheese, beans, and cornbread. “Great for business This location hosts many college students, so there are rows of tables for working at. However there are not comfy couches to sit and gather. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to try the new pineapple drink but wanted it more like a milkshake. They don't normally sell it this way but said they could froth the milk for me. “So you're in the mood for pizza......well what do you get? There are the fancy places, they use good, sometimes odd, ingredients and they are okay but that's not really what you're craving. You didn't want overdone expensive fancy food, you wanted pizza. You eat it, the ingredients are low quality and you hate yourself for it after. The only good thing you can is that it was cheap and fast but you're not happy with it. That wasn't the pizza you wanted either. Then there are the independent places, most are just greasy slop fests but some are good. Problem is it's different every time, it's whatever the owner decided to buy that week and whoever made it....the good pizza you had from them last week means nothing for the pizza you ordered tonight and some of them have some pretty silly prices because being independent they can charge whatever they want whenever they want. You didn't want to roll the dice you wanted pizza. So what do you do? Does a happy medium between price, good ingredients and quality control even exist? Well....it does and I found it for you, the Papa Romanos in Waterford checks every box! It's a franchise so they have accountability, uniformity and good prices, it's a small company and independently owned so they still care about the ingredients, service and the taste of their food plus it's a normal pizza joint! So when you had that thought in your head of "pizza sounds good tonight", this place is what you were thinking about. I found exactly what you were looking for.......enjoy and you're welcome!”

“You have the best bagels. I like most of your customers have been coming to your business for years. The low star reviews and the owner’s responses paint a unique picture of frustration. I have also been in the food business for over 30 years, and I understand the challenges that every business is currently facing during this pandemic. Most of the challenges have been there prior to the pandemic but we never had an excuse like today. Not enough staff, expenses increasing, the demand for the product fluctuates daily, food waste and lastly the stress of the owner to put the time and effort into the business. We may be the owners of a business on paper, but the true owners are our customers. Our customer’s needs will dictate our hours of operation and level of customer service that is expected in every business. Telling customers the hours are posted and to call ahead for order sizes that are not that large is unrealistic. Being curt to customers is not new due to the pandemic. Being curt is part of this businesses DNA. Your customers are looking for more than 3 days of operations, your customers are looking for nice and friendly service and a great product which you already have. If you can’t provide this, then consider an exit strategy to let someone else run this business like the community expects.”

“This is the only Mediterranean restaurant I like in the area. I’ve only done delivery so I can’t speak to the restaurant atmosphere but the food is delicious! They may seem pricey but the amount of food justifies the price. Their chicken is not dry and i like the flavor of it unlike most places around here. “I came here while visiting the area with a large group of friends. We had just over 20 of us, so it took a little longer for the restaurant to get some tables together. It didn’t seem as though the staff was overly enthusiastic to have us, but their service was still adequate. It took a little while for our food to come out, but with such a large group, this is to be expected to some degree. Everyone was really pleased with their meals and I quite enjoyed my burger. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would return here for lunch or dinner at some point.”

“An incredible little place you may drive right by if not actively looking for it. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and accommodating as soon as we walked in. There was always someone, whether a waiter or manager, bustling and circling around the dining rooms just scanning tables and consistently making sure everyone had what they needed. When we came in the place was practically empty, but within an hour it became packed as you see in the images, but it didn't seem to phase the staff. They hustled, their communication was outstanding, they maintained good humor, and rocked a busy lunch service. Their manager was a stellar coordinator/director, jumping in wherever he was needed and multitasking impressively. The kitchen staff powered briskly through the service pumping out high quality dishes like a well-oiled machine. The waitress made great recommendations and almost every dish I tried was stellar - I highly recommend Jack Beard's Fish Chowder while it's on the menu and the Seafood Panroast. The creme brulee was alright. Still, do not pass this place up if hunger strikes - you are getting a beautiful experience at a fair price.”
