Troy is exceedingly competitive and like everywhere else there are good and bad teachers (mostly good/great in my experience though), but most high schools don't have as many opportunities for students to succeed and to be involved. “I think people are just not used to Google review yet. This is the best school I know in this area. Brewster got blue ribbon award in 2017. The teachers are super nice and helpful. Our kindergarten teacher Mrs. Devlin even print pictures for the kid who can't speak English at the beginning so that she knows if the kid wants to go to restroom etc. Our 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Scharf is a great teacher too. She always has a lot of activities for the kids so they are busy all day long. They learned a lot and eat healthier.”

I entered the building and everyone I encountered acknowledged me, made eye contact and ensured that I was a welcomed guest. I mean, this was ALL ages from high school students to the preschoolers to staff. Two little preschoolers even said how nice I looked in the color I was wearing - preschoolers! What a phenomenal culture they have created - I returned to the soccer field and let every one of our parents know what I had witnessed.
