Extremely compassionate, straightforward and got my pup fixed up quickly, provided the meds too. I was a disaster when I showed up because I was so worried and frazzled by the dog attack, the vet tech gave me the biggest hug and it made all the difference. Only a few more days till he's out of the cone. We'll return!”

“Looks like I found my new vet! I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other vets simply just ordering up a bunch of tests to get the bill high and not seeming to care about my concerns with my cat. The team here though was excellent! Dr. Ballou was awesome! He seemed to genuinely care about my concerns and my pet and interested in seeing what is going on and how to manage it, took the time to explain everything and how it all works and why they wanna do this test and prescribe that medication. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you to Dr. Ballou and the rest of the team here for taking care of my Cinderella. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Dr. Suzanne is awesome!! She initially came to my house as my vet of 28 years was on unexpected medical leave, and my cat became ill. His illness progressed for 3 LONG months and Dr. Suzanne was ALWAY available; she works some crazy long hours and is one of the most caring and giving Dr's I have ever known. She was always upfront, informative and supportive. It was quite sad journey, but I was so glad she was on it with me. I would highly recommend her!!”

“We had to recently put our dog of 14 years down. Our Sugar was so loved and it was so difficult to let her go but the staff at this vet was amazing. They were so compassionate and took us in same day and cared for our dog in such a way and made her so comfortable we felt like family. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but the reassurance and care we received was everything in that moment. Our cats are booked for this weekend to be fixed and I am at ease knowing this place will treat them with as much love and compassion as us. It's hard to choose a vet these days but I am really thankful we found these amazing people to care for our pets. I truly thank them for everything they did to ease such a sad day for my family. My brother's recommended this vet and I see why. They are exceptional and you can really feel comfortable trusting them with your fur family. “The vets and staff at Union Lake Veterinary Hospital are wonderful. Dr. Hawker and Felicia are so helpful with behavioral issues and always so responsive with questions and concerns. The medication issue could have been a communication confusion/error with it being over the phone. I have used it on other dogs in the past. Was just unexpected at the time. Everyone in the office has always been kind, friendly, professional and accommodating to us and our animals over the past years. It was never anything against Dr. Richards. I like her especially after she did so much for our sweet boy who died of cancer a few years ago. Will definitely keep bringing our animals for care.”

“The ladies here are truly the best (and Nudge, too!). Everyone is so caring, they take time with you and most importantly they are gentle and understanding with your pets. Love them! Update: Just wanted to say my poor boy had to have his tail amputated due to really bad happy tail. The few weeks prior to surgery he was absolutely in agony. They scheduled him quick for surgery, took great care of him, and the day he got his tail amputated he was immediately in so much relief! 4.5 years with the same tail and I think Cletus is not only feeling better but enjoying his new look!”

“I was skeptical at first about bringing our cat to a one vet clinic that had no website. My daughter is a vet, so we were used to the best service. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the clinic to see how calm the place was. You definitely have to like cats because there are about 10 roaming around. The staff was very friendly. Our cat is normally afraid of everyone. Dr Karla came in and picked him right up. I'm sure he could tell she was a cat person because he didn't hiss or try to run away. I highly recommend this place for your feline pets.”
