The Shores of Anchor Bay

I lived here for about a year and a half. I never had any problems with any of the staff. Tammy was extremely fair whenever I brought up a concern to her. Steve (and his crew) were awesome about fixing things whenever they broke. Amber always answered all my questions. She even made sure my trash can was brought up when I was out of town for the week. All the staff has been nothing but pleasant. If you treat them with respect, you will definitely get respect in return.

I am reading a lot of negative reviews on here. I think there is a negative connotation associated with manufactured home communities. While it is true that they tend to attract some people who like to party they are also home to plenty of decent, hard working individuals. Most of the negative reviews I read on here surround people getting evicted. Well if you pay your rent on time and follow the park rules that you signed in your lease, you won't get evicted. They can't evict you just because they "feel like it"
Also, there are people complaining of lack of maintenance. This statement couldn't be further from the truth! The maintenance staff really work hard to improve the place, as well address concerns of the residents. It is a thankless job with long hours, weekends, and holidays.
They might not come fix your broken cabinet right away. It's not an emergency. They have to prioritize repairs. They will get to everything eventually. I think they do a fine job. It is a very large community.

Overall, I would recommend living here if you're looking for a place. It beats an apartment & is usually pretty quiet! I had no issues in my time there.

Sam is amazing, and very knowledgeable! She answered all my questions, and never made me feel like I was a burden. She is friendly which you don't see very often any more. I will definitely be reaching out to her when I decide what I'm going to do!!
