Optalis Health & Rehabilitation of Canton (MI)

Optalis of Canton is such a great place! You can see the pride the staff take in making sure you are comfortable & cared for, from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the reception desk to the staff taking care of patients and the smiles you see in the hallways and the cleanliness of the facility. The physical therapy department is great and works to help get your loved one back their strength.

I have been very pleased with Optalis of Canton. The center is well staffed and that is not the case with many places these days. The staff is also very attentive and on top of everything with every patient. I am excited about their outpatient therapy as well. It's a pleasure to work with such wonderful people in partnership.

Optalis of Canton is incredibly warm and welcoming from the time you walk in the front door to being given an amazing tour. Alina, Admissions Director is so passionate and knowledgeable and quite simply wants what’s best for the residents, their family members and the staff themselves. It was a genuine pleasure and I strongly encourage you to check them out if the need arises for you and/or a loved one!

5 1/2 years ago, my husband was staying at this facility. The food was horrible. I had to bring him food from home. He said he didn’t even recognize what was on his dish, the halls reeked of urine and the help wasn’t the kindest to my husband
Two weeks ago, my cousin was admitted to this facility and I am so impressed with the new ownership. The food is excellent. My cousin raves about her meals every day. The help is just so sweet and kind to her although I know they’re very short of help. The halls are clean. The room is sparkling no odors.
I would certainly recommend this place to anybody looking for a rehab facility. They have a concierge named Kimberly, who is a very lovely kind and helpful person.

The facility is clean and the staff is nice. They had my aunt up and moving daily. She told me about the cafe she went to for lunch during the week and how good the food was everyday. Both therapy teams worked with her, day by day, to regain her strength to go home. They were attentive on filling in my family on her progress as well when we had questions. The activities was wonderful, the two ladies that are in the department are so kind and have so many things going on for the people to attend. They even invited me to attend some things when I was there. The patients that were there (I went with her to bingo) were all very happy and friendly to me as well. Some were joking around with my aunt and even moved to sit with her. Everyone was very nice and very kind. The ladies at the front desk were always pleasant too. Social workers were nice, and so was the administrator. Granted no one wants to come back, but if needed, I think my aunt would come back here again.
