  The white bread makes the best grilled cheese, and you definitely cannot forget the pumpkin pie for the holidays and the paczki for Fat Tuesday...Amazing.

  This is one of those old-school bakeries that time has seem to forgotten, however it has stood the test of time with 45 years of service! I can attest that the glazed donuts are wonderful and the cookies, pretty damn good too. The beauty is that you get a warm home-baked feeling from each bite even though you know it's been baked right there in the back behind the counter. If you want simple guilty pleasures then this is the hidden gem you'll want to visit. A bit off the beaten track though pretty easy to get to from I-75. Enjoy!

  They have the nicest people working, the baked goods are always fresh with very good prices .. The white bread makes the best grilled cheese, and you definitely cannot forget the pumpkin pie for the holidays and the paczki for Fat Tuesday....by far my favorite Detroit bakery, the fact that it’s easy to get to right off of 75 makes it that much more perfect.
