The Owner is a wonderful Man and Proprietor with a warm spirit.
He Truly Enjoys cutting hair and does a Admirable Job with the straight razor.

There is also a small lot off the street if both sides of the streets are packed.
They are open Five Days a week only close on Tuesday and Sundays.
Once you have earned his business he will stay a little late to address His Loyal Customers.

I have been going to Dexter Barbershop since I moved to Detroit in 1987. Thomas, the owner is a awesome businessman, very humble and the absolute best barber. Prices are very reasonable and the cut is always on point. Even after I moved from the city I would still drive 1-2.5 hours away to come get freshened up at Dexter Barbershop. Over 50+ years of serving customers in the city of Detroit. When you arrive bring your laughing shoes because Reg, John and some regular customers keep the atmosphere filled with laughter.
