  The food is amazing and the customer service is equally as great. I’ve only encountered happy pleasant people here, but it was the first name basis walking through the door… like oh you pay attention, attention 💕 if this business is black owned… baby you all have set the standard.. I love it

  First time coming here and the food was amazing . Good size portions for the price , food was fresh and hot . Only complaint I had with the food was the black eye peas weren’t seasoned to my likings but still ate them (nothing a little hot sauce couldn’t fix ). It is a small place and the wait is lengthy but it’s worth the wait . Cashier was friendly , next time I am in Detroit I will be back . I ordered 3 plates (with a couple of extra sides ) and it came up to 72.00 , but I assure you the food and the portions is worth the price .Some of the items we got on our 3 plates were meatloaf , smother pork chops , oxtails , dressing , greens, rice and gravy , mac and cheese , black eye peas and corn bread (and a few other things ) . Just know that you won’t be disappointed.

  My mom plugged me to this place. I had oxtails, greens, & dressing. Everything is delicious. These oxtails are "omagaaahhhh" great. This is a carryout spot & the service was fast. Under 10 minutes for homecooked meal. Stop by & grab you a lunch or dinner on the go.

  Brought Two Dinners, we'll worth the price. I just don't like if you gonna be closed for cleaning or any reason atleast leave some type of note or sign on the door or window of your business. Was two different days and they were closed, I like this place
